AFP Sept 22 2019 Over 9000 people from all corners of Bavaria parade in Munich in traditional suits and medieval outfits. The parade started in the 1950s, and always takes place on the first Sunday of the Oktoberfest. It starts in the centre of the city and finishes on the "Wiesn", where the beer festival takes place.
