The deep crisis of Faith within the Catholic Church¹

LITURGY, THE MIRROR OF FAITH

Many Catholics are losing their Faith due to the liturgy of the New Mass, but do they realize why?

We need a spiritual life to keep the Faith and good works. At Mass, we are supposed to be outside this world for an hour in order to turn our minds toward God and His heavenly Kingdom.

If the Mass becomes a dialogue between the priest and the assembly in the context of religious entertainment, then is the meeting of our mind and soul with the Presence of God in the Sacrifice of Holy Mass even possible?

Because of its various characteristics, this rite does not retain in itself the compelling force of custom, consequently it is not regarded as Tradition.

One of the major causes of this stirred up liturgy is the variety of options, including the option of bringing someone's own composition or ... improvisation! Indeed, this unsteady New Mass is a system containing too many options.

If you read your local new missal, you will notice that it says here and there that you can do this (option 1) or that (option 2) or something else! This "something else" is not written in the book! A perfect recipe for all kinds of disorders, isn't it?

Notice that the system of options created a mentality that is now rooted into those involved in the liturgy. It consists of applying this system to all components of liturgy, even to those that were not presented as changeable in the New Order of the Mass.

This situation creates a phenomenon in which many priests and many of those involved in what is supposed to be the liturgy, tend to have an uncontrollable urge to invent alterations and new elements to include in the Mass that are either entertaining, catchy, flashy, tacky, goofy, superfluous, too personal, annoying, nonreligious, illicit, heretical, impious, blameworthy or sometimes even sacrilegious.

I said heretical, someone might think that I exaggerate. Let me give, for example, the universal prayers of the faithful. Most of the time, they are meaningless, prosy and unimportant. Nevertheless, I heard with my own ears prayers for the acceptance of one of the worst sins (homosexuality).

A large open door exists for songs. The Gloria, the Credo, the Sanctus, the Agnus Dei and others, can be heard with very different lyrics than those expected in the local language. Then, there are songs with messages ... not inspired by genuine Catholic theology!

The conclusion is inevitable. The "New Order of the Mass" is a faulty and improper name. It should be called the "New Disorder of the Mass" ...

Therefore, is it really an adequate ritual, a proper rite for the Presence of God?

One of the possible outcomes of the New Mass is demonstrated in the final two minutes of this video, which also includes another act.

¹The message contained in this video is not mine, I chose it for the liturgies. Contrary to what the video says, important alterations were introduced to liturgy from 1964 to 1969, at least for the Roman Rite. Also, all parishioners dancing in church isn't typical or universal.

Warning: uncooperative altar servers at 5:10 in the video.

Clearly, these priest entertainer aspirers desire the glory of the world rather than the glory of God. Shame on them!

Before, to go up to the altar, the priest recited psalms, said prayers, as someone who goes up to perform the Holy Sacrifice in the name of Christ. And the priest was in the role of one who exports and teaches.
Now, in the modern masses, there is the "entrance song". Afterwards, the priest welcomes, and explains to the people why they are there ...
Where is the problem ?
