Section for Life의 하-비서는 49세의 5명의 자녀를 둔 bio ethicist Gabriella Gambino이다. 2014년 10월 그녀는 추기경 Walter Kasper의 이혼-찬성 주장들을 비판했다.
Section for the Lay Faithful의 하-비서로는 두 명의 자녀를 둔 교회-변호사인 Linda Ghisoni이다. 그녀는 의회 주변의 선두 모더니스트 당-학교인 독일 Theological Faculty of Tübingen에서 공부했다. 나중에 이는 영향력을 잃었다.
Dicastery는 모더니스트 추기경 Kevin Farrell이 이끈다. 바티칸 하-비서들은 monsignor들이 맡아왔다.
The Dicastery is headed by Modernist Cardinal Kevin Farrell. Vatican sub-secretaries used to be monsignors.
