The recent statement of Pope Leo XIV, affirming that Judas Iscariot excluded himself from salvation,…

As always, you are most welcome. I almost did not submit them because of the deep respect I have for everything you post and for what you so correctly noted in this particular post. God bless.

The recent statement of Pope Leo XIV, affirming that Judas Iscariot excluded himself from salvation,…

I agree with 99% of what you have written but I hesitate at your conclusion with respect to "Pope Leo XIV...restoring clarity where confusion has long reigned" (too long, in my opinion). Although admittedly not the subject of your thoughtful reflection, the over emphasis of a "feeling" Gospel in the pope's sermon (as well as throughout almost all of his predecessor's oeuvre) is, for me, the booby-trap into which too many heretics and 'fallen away' Catholics topple. St. Thomas Aquinas is quite adamant about Faith and reason; he doesn't mention "feelings" at all, I suspect because they are so prone to impair both Faith and reason. I also am inclined to think that St. Augustine, someone who's life had been plagued by the blindness of 'feelings' and corporeal indulgences, might fault the current pope on this score, as well. As you imply, if there is a 'line in the sand' which is drawn with respect to our damnation, it is one embraced by us, our choices, our feelings, not an insurpassable one imposed by our loving Father. Lucifer is too proud to accept forgiveness; Judas too despondent to accept that it is being offered.

US Restaurants Now Serving Bezos-Backed Lab Grown Salmon

No doubt the same 'salmon' served on Bezos' yachts. (After all, it was such a big hit at his 'wedding' in Venice.)

Leo XIV's Strange Sermon on Judas

Many people (including Bergoglio) appear to use "therapeutic and sentimental language" when they are covertly being self-referential. Such a psychological state doesn't make for a great leader.

Mercy Without Truth, Death Without Resurrection

It looks like Hercules finally has a 'Labor' which could challenge him - cleaning out the Vatican 'Sermon Stables' - a daunting amount of BS to clean.

Medical Board STRIPS Doctor of His License!

A travesty of justice and medical 'practice'. Clearly he understands his primary vocational directive better than the idiots who 'stripped' him of his license. May God provide a wonderful epilogue for him.

US Church Loses 90 Percent of Baptised Catholics

Which is, sadly, why I do not become too enthused when I read headlines about Catholic conversions 'on the rise'. The body doesn't ldo well in the long term receiving transfusions of ml when, at the same time, it is hemmorraging litres.

Leo XIV Started an Investigation Into the Cardinal of Lima

While some at the Vatican would play obfuscating 'mind games', the true shepherds of Christ should be turning over tables and tossing the posers out of the temple.

Teachers have the right to ask pupils to address them as Mx, Education Secretary tells LBC

Pretty 'mxed' up, if you ask me. Sheer idiocy.

In the modern world this generates the "awkward pause"

These words would only be "awkward" in a world in which we have undermined the hallowedness of the vocations and practices listed.

Leo XIV Started an Investigation Into the Cardinal of Lima

Sadly, Leo has already proven himself to be a "bridge" to nowhere. It is a case of 'actions speaking louder than words', and his actions, like those of his mentor and predecessor, are not good. Genuine Catholics are on their own.

Philemon Yang, President of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly: "I was honoured …

The UN doesn't care one diddly-squat about the Holy See being a 'global moral voice'. It is an embarassment that the relationship between the two is so cozy given the appalling immoral initiatives the UN has taken as directives for the NWO.

Catholic Bishops Compare ICE Deportations to Nazis and Slave Catchers

Too bad the Catholic bishops are not so vigorously appaled about apparent ongoing cases of sex-trafficking (allegedly, in some cases, abetted by Catholic charities themselves), the transgender mutilation of children and the ever obscene millions of lives who have been aborted. Moreover, the closes ties certain members of the Church had with the Nazis (emphatically excluding the much maligned Pope Pius XII) particularly with respect to the so-called "ratlines" to Argentina and other localities, would seem to make any instance of 'citing Nazis' a bit lame, to say the very least. Calling for a judicious treatment of those who trangressed against the laws of the US is one thing, as well as legitimately petitioning that some of those laws be reassessed, but 'accompanying' criminality would not seem to be within their purview.

The World’s Most Prominent Ecclesiastical Freemason

Who 'ordains' such heretics?!!

To some extent, as wonderfully ironic, and apt, as this gentleman's response was, I would have to concede that, in many ways, the CRA reply was also ironically accurate; forcing Canadian taxpayers to support such a bunch of "dependent" wastrels is entirely "unacceptable"(!)

Isabel Vaughan-Spruce Faces Third Police Investigation for SILENT Prayer

If the Catholic Church would only move more emphatically to follow our Lady's requests regarding Russia, I believe that the results would be truly miraculous. Among the more powerful nations, Russia has a great potential to be the new 'daughter of the Church' for our age.
