Letters of Metropolitan Sergii of Vilnius.
These are a series of letters wrtten by the Russian Orthodox Metropolitan in Lithuania during the German occupation, in which he detailed the persecution of the church under Stalin in the previous decade and hoped that the Germans would win the war against Stalin. The author of the letters was murdered by Soviet partisans before the war ended.

The Human Organism.
This is a short story that I wrote originally around Christmas 2008, but which I've been improving over time.
It's sort of about modern militant atheism and the culture of death. Perhaps it also may reflect a potential future for us.
I often find myself in arguments with atheists who will deny that any religion is true and in place of religion they will construct their own understanding of reality that denies anything metaphysical and will assert that there is nothing that exists except the material world. I believe that this understanding of reality is fatally flawed in that we can plainly see the existence of metaphysical principles and there is no amount of insults or argumentation which is going to change this.
What would the world be like if we really embraced the idea that there was nothing beyond the physical and that humanity was really nothing more than a meaningless contraption of cells and tissue?

Supernatural Knowledge of St Pio.
St Pio of Pietrelcina (often called Padre Pio) supposedly performed many miracles along with the stigmata he received. Famously among these miracles was his supposed capacity to know the thoughts of people, even when he had not met them before. This is a collection of stories and anecdotes of this kind of miracle. The last one on the list was one I added personally, due to it having been told me by the daughter of the woman to whom it supposedly happened.

The Gospel According to Liberation Theology.
This is a parody I wrote in 2008. I felt inspired by the many perverted depictions as well as understandings of Jesus and His gospel found in the world. A large and very dangerous form of such perversions is 'Liberation Theology', which can be found in Latin America as well as other parts of the world, and it teaches that Jesus wants us to use violence to liberate the poor of the world. The Vatican has condemned it, but there is unfortunately some number of catholics who have subscribed to it.
There is only one true understanding of the gospel and that is the one taught by the magisterium of the holy roman catholic church. There are not 'different gospels', there is not more than one true church, and Jesus' message is not up to us to decide for ourselves. With that thought, I humbly present this, and hope you enjoy.
