Why christian theologians might look at these texts again? Perhaps these text are not too spiritual and ethereal, but a new way to say the same thing and might bring some people back into balance.
LOGION 26 and 27
You detect a speck in your brother’s eye, but fail to perceive
the beam sticking out of your own. Remove the timber from your eye, and you will see clearly enough to extract the speck lodged in the eye of your brother.
Yeshua says…
If you do not fast from the cosmos,
you will never grasp Reality.
If you cannot find rest on the day of rest,
you will never feast your eyes on God.
Simple
Refrain from judging others
AND rest from thinking and work
to rejoice in the stillness of being.
