STOP THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE FROM CRIMINALISING BIOLOGICAL TRUTH

Stop Criminalising Biological Truth! Reject the Radical Gender Ideology Resolution.

Stop the Council of Europe from criminalising biological truth!

Imagine waking up to find common sense rebranded as a crime.

On 29 January, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will vote on a radical resolution that could open the door to punishing people for refusing gender ideology.

It is being presented as a ban on “conversion practices.”

But the real problem is what the text quietly adds: it expands the concept to include “gender identity” and “gender expression.”

In practice, this could mean that simply refusing to affirm a child’s self-declared trans identity — or expressing basic biological truth — can be treated as “harm,” “abuse,” or something deserving punishment.

This is not about stopping violent or coercive behaviour.

This is about enforcing ideological compliance.

Parents, teachers, doctors — even priests — could be targeted

If you are a parent and you say “no” to puberty blockers... If you are a teacher who uses the “wrong pronouns”

You could be treated like the problem.

Even worse, the resolution pushes countries to introduce laws with criminal sanctions. That means this is not just about being criticised online. It can lead to real-world consequences: complaints, investigations, professional bans, loss of licences, and court cases.

It’s designed to reach everywhere.

The resolution’s reach is broad: it calls for enforcement across healthcare, education, religious spaces, and even commercial settings.

It also promotes mandatory training programmes, school curriculum changes, and public awareness campaigns — pushing gender ideology deeper into daily life.

Most chilling of all, it encourages school programmes that teach children to “identify and denounce” adults who do not comply.

That is not protection. That is ideological control.

Why this matters beyond Strasbourg

The Council of Europe is not a small institution. It covers 46 countries and its resolutions are treated as “human rights standards” across Europe.

What gets approved here is often recycled into “best practice,” then pushed into national policy, and later turned into law proposals at EU and national level.

This vote is a key moment to stop this before it spreads further.

We call on the members of your country’s delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to vote AGAINST this resolution on 29 January.

Europe can NEVER criminalise parents, teachers, doctors, and citizens for refusing to lie.
