Pope Leo XIV’s Popemobile
The car has four electric motors under the hood and a range of 473 km. The project was elaborated by engineers from Austria, Italy and Germany, and was conceived under the banner of 'green sustainability'.
In keeping with tradition, the new Popemobile is pearl white and has an optimised powertrain to increase agility during public ceremonies.
The interior has been redesigned, with one of the rear seats replaced by a single swivel platform that can be adjusted in height.
Two chairs for attendants are located at its side. Security has been carefully considered, starting with the doors.
The left door has been welded shut, while the right door opens in the opposite direction to normal, making it easier to enter and exit the vehicle.
The car is also reportedly equipped with an anti-drone system.
