Locals in the village of Morcá, Colombia, were left stunned after an image resembling the face of the Virgin Mary appeared on the side of a mountain. Residents say the formation emerged around three months ago when part of the rock naturally broke away, but many believe the likeness is a sign of Mary’s presence and protection. Since photos and videos went viral, crowds of pilgrims and curious visitors have been traveling to the site, praying and leaving flowers. Others remain skeptical, calling it a coincidence or natural pattern in the rock.
