Then I wake and all I see is a world full of people in need

POVEDZ MI – PREČO?

V mojich snoch deti spievajú pieseň lásky pre každého chlapca a dievča,
obloha je modrá, polia sú zelené, a úsmev je jazykom sveta,
potom sa zobudím a vidím svet plný ľudí v núdzi.
Povedz mi – prečo to musí byť takto,
povedz mi – prečo je tu niečo, čo som zmeškal
povedz mi – prečo, pretože ja nerozumiem,
keď tak veľa ľudí niečo potrebuje
- nepodáme pomocnú ruku. Povedz mi – prečo?
Každý deň sa pýtam sám seba, čo mám urobiť,
aby som bol mužom, mám stáť a bojovať,
aby som každému dokázal – kto som,
je to to, načo je určený môj život?
Aby sa stratil vo svete plnom vojny?
Povedz mi prečo to musí byť takto,
povedz mi prečo je tu niečo čo som zmeškal…
Povedz mi prečo, pretože ja nerozumiem,
keď tak veľa ľudí niečo potrebuje
- nepodáme pomocnú ruku. Povedz mi – prečo..?
Môže mi niekto povedať, prečo nechávame horieť lesy?
Prečo hovoríme, že sa staráme,
povedz mi prečo, prečo stojíme a len pozeráme,
povedz mi prečo delfíny plačú….
Môže mi niekto povedať, prečo nechávame zomierať oceány?
Prečo sme stále rovnakí? Prečo nechávame vinu len tak?
Prečo to nikdy neskončí?
Môže mi niekto povedať prečo – nevieme byť priatelia?
Prečo zatvárame oči? Prečo stále klameme?
Prečo bojujeme o kus zeme? Môže mi niekto povedať – prečo?
