Jesus for Thee I Live Jesus for Thee I Die.
When the priest gives the Apostolic Pardon to a dying soul, in order to receive its full benefit, that soul needs to be abandoned to God’s Holy Will, invoke the name of Jesus and plead for His mercy. Here is a simple prayer that captures all three… Jesus, for Thee I live. Jesus for Thee I die, have mercy on me a sinner. When we embrace all that this prayer means, we suddenly find ourselves ready not only to die in any way that His Majesty deems fitting for us, but we are also ready to live… and do whatever He still has planned for us. Thus, the simple principle: when we are is ready to die, we are ready to live. This is how the saints conquered the world and avoided being manipulated by fear… they had already died!! No one could do anything to them that they had not somehow already mystically done to themselves by their readiness to undergo any form of death in union with Christ and Him Crucified.
