Cardinals today are in a similar situation as when King Henry VIII wanted to marry Anne Boleyn and threathened to take away the property of the English cardinals who did not support him. So Protestantism was born.
Cardinals Sarah, Burke, Muller and Napier at the Consistory were supporting an irrational interpretation of Vatican Council II which is politically correct and is used to rationalize LGBT ideology.
The conservative cardinals did not issue a statement saying ‘LG 8, 14, 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc in Vatican Council II refer to hypothetical cases only. They are not physically visible examples of salvation outside the Catholic Church. They are not explicit exceptions for Ad Gentes 7 (all need faith and baptism for salvation) and neither are objective exceptions for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus of the Council of Florence 1442, which did not mention any exceptions. So they do not contradict the Athanasius Creed. Interpreted rationally they make the New Ecumenism obsolete. There can only be an ecumenism of return to the Catholic Church as mentioned in the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX. The Catholic Church returns to the old exclusivist ecclesiology when implicit cases are not confused as being explicit. So the New Ecumenism, New Theology, New Ecclesiology and New Evangelization, which are not Ecclesiocentric, are obsolete. They are based upon the False Premise (invisible cases are visible in 2026). With the Rational Premise (invisible cases are invisible in 2026) Vatican Council II is ecclesiocentric and orthodox. There is no schism with the Magisterium and missionaries of the 16th century on EENS.’
Instead, cardinals Sarah, Burke, Muller and Napier still align themselves with the political left interpretation of LG 16 etc, being an exception for the dogma EENS. So the Council emerges as a break with Tradition.
CARDINAL WILFRID NAPIER
I met Cardinal Wilfred Napier twice on the Rome metro and spoke to him. He was not willing to affirm the dogma EENS, with no exceptions or even talk about Vatican Council II interpreted rationally and so traditionally. The dishonest interpretation of Magisterial Documents, suits him. Even in an exchange on ‘X’ he wanted to stay clear of this issue.
If I met cardinals Sarah, Burke and Muller outside St. Peters’ and asked them if LG 16 refers to a physically visible or invisible case for them in 2026, they probably would not answer. They don’t answer, or comment on this issue on social media. None of them issues a statement on Vatican Council II rational and irrational, ‘the hypothetical passages in red are not explicit exceptions for the dominant orthodox blue passages in Vatican Council II. ‘
Even Bishop Athanasius Schneider did not comment on this issue. He supports Vatican Council II irrational in public.
In Italy, Prime Minister Georgia Melloni has deserted the right wing political parties and joined the Left. Here we have the conservative cardinals supporting the irrational, liberal and schismatic interpretation of Vatican Council II approved by the political left.
This is a public scandal.
For Sarah, Burke, Muller and Napier the Athanasius Creed has exceptions. But there were no exceptions for the cardinals in the 1930’s.
Sarah, Burke, Muller and Napier are liberal, dissenters on the dogma EENS of the Council of Florence 1442, which did not mention any exceptions.
None of them are willing to discuss this issue at length. I have to briefly talk with them on the Rome metro.
CARDINALS THREATHENED
They could be threatened with excommunication by the Church and labeled Anti Semitic etc by the Left and so lose their privileges and titles. They are in a similar situation as when King Henry VIII in England wanted to marry Anne Boleyn and threathened to confiscate the property of the English cardinals, if they do not support him, against the pope - and so the new Protestant religion was born. Thousands of Catholics were then burnt at the stake or guillotined.
We now know that the New Theology, of Rahner, Ratzinger and Balthazar was based upon the Irrational Premise. So it was schismatic. With the Rational Premise we return to the old salvation- theology. But cardinals Sarah, Burke and Napier continue to support the schismatic theology based on Vatican Council II irrational created with the False Premise. – Lionel Andrades
