Today, August 2nd is the feast day of St. Alphonsus Liguori. He founded the Holy Order of the Redemptorists. He is also a Doctor of the Church. His works are extremely edifying & valuable for spiritual growth in the One True faith of Christ, the traditional Catholic faith, which is necessary for salvation.
