March, 2010, given at Borg in-Nadur
(Today, the Way of the Cross was held.
)
My dear children and my children – the ones of my heart! Tell Fr Hayden and Fr David the following, for them to pass on to the people.
Today you leafed through the Gospel page after page. Today all was meditated. I thank you for this, my children.
A long time ago, my Son suffered all of what you have just meditated on. And I was there. I saw everything with my own eyes. I gave him my support. I stood beneath the cross till the very last breath and he offered me to you and I accepted to become your mother. My children, this suffering that I endured that day, and the hurts, I am feeling today also as I see them happen daily to the children of my heart; to those of my children who are killed and tortured; to those who are punished and treated with cruelty – they are going through the same water that my Son Jesus traversed, as you have just meditated.
Something actual is occurring on this day itself and at this very hour, my children: the children of my heart are being tortured and moreover, another modern form of torture – a babe in its mother’s womb, a babe is torn to bits, a babe is thrown away because it does not have the power to speak up, because it is still meek within its mother’s womb. How is it that you interfere on whether it is to live or not? You have no right over life and death. By what right do you speak in the name of another? By what right? By what right do you take the life of the innocent?
My children, after the crucifixion comes the resurrection! Come now! Let us rise up in one cry along with my Son Jesus and shout out together: ‘No to abortion and to injustice!’
