San Rafael: The Diocese Has Published a Press Release

The diocesan community is hereby informed that on 3 February of this year, adults have reported to the competent authorities Monsignor Carlos Maria Domínguez for improper actions inflicted against them, resulting in the effective resignation of the aforementioned bishop.

We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of the complainants and their families, who will always have the right to resort to civil justice.

Given the seriousness of the reported facts, an investigation has been initiated to determine the appropriate canonical actions according to the protocols in force in the Church.

With the commitment to proceed with this process with transparency and justice, we regret the hurt and pain this causes to the people of God, and trust that the search for the truth will help them on the path to healing.
