German "Catholic Youth" Distributes Condoms

Youngsters and teenage candidates for confirmation who participated in the Youth Day of the archdiocese of Berlin, Germany, were given condoms by a group which calls itself KJGay and is part of the Katholische junge Gemeinde (KJG), the official youth organisation of the German Catholic Church.

The Youth Day took place from July 7th to 9th in Zinnowitz, a spa town at the Baltic Sea. The condoms, produced for the event, were wearing the labels “KjGefickt” (Catholic Youth F***ed) and “Love is for all”.

On July 11th, the social media accounts of Berlin archdiocese reported favourable about the condom campaign but the posts were deleted after criticisms. The scandal had no consequences for those responsible for it.
