St. Philip Neri

Born in Florence in 1515, St. Philip dedicated himself to serving the Lord, guided by a mystical experience that led him to Rome at the age of eighteen.
In Rome, St. Philip's zeal for evangelization and his deep prayer life set him apart. He reached out to people from all walks of life, sharing the love of God and challenging them to live lives of virtue. Despite the challenges and corruptions within the Church during his time, St. Philip remained steadfast, founding the Congregation of the Oratory and earning the title "Apostle of Rome."
