Catwalk and Ramadan: Francis Bishop Sets His Priorities

The courtyard of the Cathedral of Almería, Spain, was transformed into a catwalk for female models on 25 March (video below).

The spectacle was supported by the city council and accompanied by music and food. Local media wrote of the collaboration of Almería's Bishop Gómez Cantero.

Gómez did not preside at a Eucharist in Almería's Cathedral of the Incarnation on the feast of the Annunciation, which celebrates the incarnation of Christ. Instead, he was busy with politics, such as writing an effusive Ramadan congratulation, attending a picnic with Muslims and taking part in a cooking show on 27 March (second video below).
