17:24

Receive Christ, Receive The Holy Trinity
St. Peter urges us to sanctify Christ in our hearts, meaning to recognize and uphold His holiness. This is achieved through union with Christ, not just belief, but by entering into His love. The indwelling of the Holy Trinity within us, a mystery rooted in love, is exemplified by the Eucharist, where the entire person of Jesus, and thus the Trinity, is received.
The Holy Trinity, dwelling within each person in a state of grace, invites us to participate in their love. This love, exemplified by the union of Jesus and Mary, is not just a concept but a reality within us, calling us to love and be loved in return. By recognizing Christ’s presence and loving Him, we sanctify Him in our hearts and live in His love.
