AMERICAS, TURN HUMBLY TO YOUR MOTHER! (SISTER GLENDA OF CHILE))
We learn of Mary's extraordinary power to intercede before God from the Gospel account in John 2:1-11. There, we read about Jesus' first miracle at the so-called Cana Wedding. We can see in this biblical passage, that Mary's intercession is so powerful that God can actually change his plans due to her request. Jesus answer to Mary's petition is "WOMAN, MY HOUR HAS NOT YET COME" (meaning "it is not in the Father's plans"), and yet he proceeds to grant her request. Furthermore, Mary anticipates that her request will be granted, by answering: "DO WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU."
Inspired by this video, let us turn humbly to our heavenly Mother in her different advocations as the National Patroness, or "Principal Intercessor," of the countries of the Americas.
