2.4 Billion Christians Celebrate Easter

This weekend celebrating 2.4 billion Christians worldwide Easter on the same date. That is quite exceptional. Since the Council of Nicaea in 325 Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon
celebrated in the spring. The 175 million Orthodox churches orient itself on the Julian calendar, the more than one billion non-Orthodox Christians on the Gregorian. The date of Easter can vary five weeks.
