Leo XIV Knows Opus Dei Well

Austin Ruse mentioned on CrisisMagazine.com (20 June) that Pope Leo XIV knows Opus Dei very well. Ruse is a married member of Opus Dei.

Two of the previous bishops in his Peruvian diocese were from Opus Dei. The Opus Dei bishops founded the seminary in his diocese.

Leo XIV has presided over the annual Mass for St. Josemaría Escrivá in his diocese for the past five years. His two private secretaries were priests connected to Opus Dei.
