The archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael are venerated in the Roman Catolic Church with a feast on 29 September.The Hebrew Bible uses the terms מלאכ' אלוה'ם (melakh Elohim; Angels of God), מלאכ' 'הוה (melakh Adonai; Angels of the Lord), בנ' אלוה'ם (b'nai elohim; sons of God) and הקדוש'ם (ha-qodeshim; the holy ones) to refer to beings traditionally interpreted as angelic messengers.
