Today’s meditation will be a “Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel” The prayer that we will be reciting today, is actually a three-day novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. I’ve selected this particular prayer because of the beautiful imagery that springs to life when reading it. We turn to Our Lady today with our intentions and ask that the worries of today be lifted. May this novena bring us closer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel as we offer up this prayer, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Oh, most beautiful flower of Mount Carmel, fruitful vine, splendor of Heaven. Oh, Blessed Mother of the Son of God; Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity. Oh, Star of the Sea, help me and show me you are my Mother. Oh, Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, I humbly beseech thee from the bottom of my heart to succor me in my necessity. (Mention your request here) There are none that can withstand your power. Oh, Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. (say three times). Holy Mary, I place this prayer in your hands. (say three times). Amen This novena should be said once a day for three consecutive days, so make sure you come back tomorrow, and the day after!
