Catholic College Professor Blasts Pro-Life Work of Bishops

Bianca Laureano, a professor at College of Mount Saint Vincent is under fire for contributing to a pro-abortion blog and promoting criticism of the pro-life work of the nation’s Catholic bishops.

Laureano, who is scheduled to teach core-level sociology courses next semester at the college, has blogged at the RH Reality Check web site — a pro-abortion news blog that frequently criticizes pro-life advocates and aggressively promotes abortion.

At the blog, Laureano promotes a poem that attacks the “Women Deserve Better” campaign sponsored by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Secretariat for Pro-life Activities.

“We [The Cardinal Newman Society, a pro-life group that monitors Catholic colleges and universities], reported in April on two more troubling posts by Laureano regarding a presentation she gave on “Latina Sexualities,” which incorporated artwork that portrays the Virgin Mary pornographically (warning: there is very offensive material in her post), and another workshop she was preparing to give to students at Jesuit Saint Peter’s College,” CNS says.

Well, I guess her weight has caused some major fatty deposits on her brain. More than her satan-influenced silliness, the university is more to blame for hiring this kind of washed up broad whose only way to garner attention is to find support by writing garbage on her blog that is anti-life. She deserves at the very least an exorcism--and to be dismissed post haste from the (no longer?) Catholic U. or should I have written that with a small "c?" How very pathetic she and the university are! Truthfully, and I know this is NOT charitable, I will NOT pray for these kind of satan-allied individuals. ONce you give yourself to Satan and commit your soul, it's pretty much done. We make our choices and we live (and die) with them.

As president of the college, "the buck stops here." Wouldn' that be refreshing to call this socialist out? This greatest tragedy in Catholic Colleges and Universities is the lack of moral courage on the part of presidents and boards.
