Newsweek Misses “First Gay President” Call By 3 Yrs

Sinclair News Early Incarnation Declared Obama First Gay President in 2008/2009
Newsweek has published the above cover on its next issue proudly declaring Barack Obama as “The First Gay President.” Problem with openly gay, British writer Andrew Sullivan’s article is, he’s 3 years late as Sinclair News declared Barack Obama America’s “First Gay President” more than 3 years ago in its earlier Internet web sites devoted to reporting the truth about Barack Obama.
Sullivan for those who do not know is a British Citizen who is seeking to become an American Citizen who was given special treatment by the US Attorney in MA on a Federal charge of possession of Marijuana in a US Parks Service park in MA. The actions by the US Attorney to drop the charges against Mr. Sullivan (as a favor to prevent Sullivan from having his Immigration status changed as a result of a criminal drug conviction which would be cause to deny his application for Citizenship and would require Sullivan to be deported) brought about a stern rebuke by a United States District Court Judge who found the move to be highly suspect and questionable. In addition Sullivan is an avid Obama supporter outspoken attack dog for all things Obama who has been repaid by invitations to White House State Dinners, Parties and his favorable treatment in his drug charge. Sullivan writes for the Obama propaganda web rag The DailyBeast and The Atlantic.
Obama named ‘The First Gay President’
The cover story, written by openly gay Newsweek contributor Andrew Sullivan, has yet to be released in full, but the magazine posted an excerpt on why the writer believes the president’s move to support same-sex marriage was not just a political ploy.
“When you step back a little and assess the record of Obama on gay rights, you see, in fact, that this was not an aberration. It was an inevitable culmination of three years of work,” Sullivan writes.
Sullivan draws comparisons between Obama’s biracial upbringing and the experience of gays who grow up in heterosexual families.
“He had to discover his black identity and then reconcile it with his white family, just as gays discover their homosexual identity and then have to reconcile it with their heterosexual family,” Sullivan writes.
Sullivan however is less than honest about Barack Obama’s “gayness,” as Barack Obama has not had to “evolve” into something that he has been actively engaged in for many, many years. As a life long openly gay male, this writer finds Sullivan’s “…just as gays discover their homosexual identity and then have to reconcile it with their heterosexual family,” to be complete bull. Speaking from personally knowing I was gay even as a child, growing up in the rural South, I believe gives me a bit more authority on whether I needed to discover my homosexual identity and then have to reconcile it with my heterosexual family. In fact my family and anyone who knew me as a child growing up will tell you I never worried about “reconciling” who or what I was/am with anyone.
Allow me to make this point perfectly clear, especially due to the recent efforts by some ‘journalist’ to attempt to attack and/or misrepresent me or what I have said about Barack Obama in the past. Barack Obama did not and has not had to evolve into anything as it relates to his position on gays. Barack Obama is gay himself and has engaged in homosexual acts on many different occasions over his life time, including after having married Michelle and even after the birth of his daughter Malia. These are facts which Michelle Obama can not claim to having no knowledge of, nor can Barack Obama deny (at least not if he is being honest) but Obama doesn’t seem to have the same problem he accused his former “spiritual adviser and mentor” Jeremiah Wright of having. Obama asked Wright, “Do you know what your problem is?” Telling Wright his problem is he ‘has to tell the truth.’

“Barack said, ‘I’m sorry you don’t see it the way I do. Do you know what your problem is?’ And I said, ‘No, what’s my problem?’ And he said, ‘You have to tell the truth.’ I said, ‘That’s a good problem to have. That’s a good problem for all preachers to have. That’s why I could never be a politician.’
“And he said, ‘It’s going to get worse if you go out there and speak. It’s really going to get worse.’
“And he was so right.”
