Lisbon: Ferrari Caught Removing Statue of Christ

Ferrari, the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer, published an advertisement on Instagram (24 February) featuring a view of Lisbon, including the banks of the Tejo River and the Ponte 25 de Abril.

Curiously, the 110-metre monument with the statue of Christ the Redeemer (Cristo Rei) on the south bank of the Tejo has been removed (see image with article).

After a backlash on social media, a corrected version of the image with the monument was published.
