No Bombshell: Questions, Speeches Forbidden At Francis Meeting With Cardinals

At the upcoming consistory on Francis' Curia Reform “no interventions by cardinals will be allowed,” reports DagoSpia.com (August 20).

At the last consistory in 2014 - eight (!) years ago - there was a debate with dissenting voices. Francis cannot cope with dissenting voices.

This time, Bishop Marco Mellino, the secretary of the Council of Cardinals, basically told the cardinals to shut up in the Synod Hall.

Mellino will read out a document on the Curia reform. This document - which has already been leaked - has produced laughter among the curia cardinals who have described it as a “potpourri” of quotes from Paul VI, John Paul II, and Francis.

Requests to speak were expected by those Curia Cardinals who are downgraded and thus silenced by Francis' innovations. Francis is known for praising dialogue while doing everything to prevent it.

Interesting concept of 'dialogue'.

Can the cardinals still get to know each other outside of the official meeting? I would assume so. I mean when they're all in Rome.
Francis makes himself look weak with this. Opposition will likely grow. He is encouraging clandestine counter sankt gallen activity.
Let's hope that this allows either Cardinal Erdo or Cardinal Saeah to further solidify himself.
Hopefully they, and also Cardinal Pell and Cardinal Muller will adapt quickly and make sure to influence well intentioned cardinals in the middle.

What are they going to do for 2 days, look at each other. Liberal dictators don't allow debate. Hopefully cardinals at the next conclave will elect a better cardinal, then this last one!

Privately discuss the problems in the Church I would hope.
