The Rosary was revealed and spread through the Latin Church. From its origin, the Rosary and its various prayers began being recited in the Church’s universal sacred language. After receiving the instruction from our Lady, St Dominic himself taught heathens and Christians alike, who had no knowledge of this language, to pray the holy Rosary in Latin.

In 1973, an image of the Blessed Virgin that shed “human tears” (101 times), spoke to Sister Agnes Sasagawa, a religious of the Institute of the Servants of the Eucharist, in Akita, Japan. On October 13, in the third message, the voice coming from the image "resplendent with a dazzling light", told him:
– “As she had already announced before, if men do not convert, the Father will inflict a great punishment on the entire human race. It will undoubtedly be a terrible punishment, such as has never been seen. Fire will fall from the sky. For this punishment a large part of humanity will be annihilated. Priests and faithful will die alike. The men who are forgiven and excepted will have such great suffering and desolation that they will envy those who are dead. The only weapon left is the Rosary, and the sign left by my Son. Every day pray the Rosary for the Pope, the Bishops and the priests.”
