Vatican Removed Homosex 'Pilgrimage' from Jubilee Calendar

Following an online backlash, the Vatican's official Holy Year website iubilaeum2025.va has removed the announcement of a homosexual pilgrimage on September 6, 2025. The entry has been unavailable for more than 24 hours.

Previously, a spokesman for the Dicastery for Evangelization told Reuters that the pilgrimage "is in the calendar, like many other events." The activities "are not sponsored activities."

The "pilgrimage" in question is organized by the Italian group Tenda de Gionata (Jonathan's Tent). The group was founded in Italy in 2018, is catered to homosexuals and their families, and aims to turn "more and more sanctuaries" into a place of support for homosexual activists.

Has it actually been removed or is there a technical problem or glitch in the system? Let’s not count our chickens before they hatch or, as in this case, before the eggs are even laid. Someone should request official clarification and confirmation from the Holy See that the vile event was indeed removed purposely from the Jubilee Schedule, and that the website is not just experiencing technical difficulties.
