LORENZO FONTANA AND LEGA NEED TO CLARIFY THAT LG 14 AND LG 16 IN VATICAN II ARE ALWAYS HYPOTHETICAL : CORRECTION OF EUROPEAN UNION AND ALBERTO MELLONI
Lorenzo Fontana needs to settle the problem of Vatican Council II in the Catholic Church. He needs to clarify that for the political party Lega, Lumen Gentium 14 (being saved with the baptism of desire) and Lumen Gentium 16(being saved in invincible ignorance) refer to hypothetical and invisible cases in 1965-2025. So the Catholic Church still teaches that outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation. This is the teaching of Ad Gentes 7 in Vatican Council II which says all need faith and baptism for salvation. While LG 14 and 16 are not objective exceptions for AG 7 or the Council of Florence 1442 on extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS).
With this announcement the Lega removes confusion in the Catholic Church. This announcement would be welcomed at the next meeting at Pontida.
For the University of St. Thomas Aquinas, where he studied philosophy, LG 14 and 16 are objective exceptions for the Council of Florence 1442 on EENS. So the professors and the Left imply that LG 14 and 16 refer to objective cases. Since invisible people cannot be visible exceptions for the dogma EENS. Exceptions would have to be visible. For me LG 14 and 16 refer to invisible cases and so they are not exceptions for the dogma EENS or AG 7. AG 7 is aligned with the dogma EENS and the Athanasius Creed. Vatican Council II has a continuity and not rupture with Tradition for me.
If there is a box of oranges and there is an apple in the center of that box then that apple is an exception because it is different. It is also an exception because it is there in that box at that time. If it was not there it would not be an exception. There are no visible cases of LG 14 and LG 16!
There are no cases of being saved with the baptism of desire and in invincible ignorance in 2025. We cannot see or meet someone saved as such.
At the European University in Rome (University Pontifical Regina Apostolorum) where Fontana studied Christian history and I studied Philosophy in Rome, the professors interpret LG 14 and LG 16 as being exceptions for the dogma EENS and the Athanasius Creed which says all need to be Catholic for salvation. This is a common mistake in the Catholic Church today.
A clarification from the Lega is needed since Alberto Melloni of the FSCIRE; Bologna School interprets Vatican Council II irrationally. He is funded by the Italian Government. For him LG 14 and 16 refer to non hypothetical and real people saved outside the Church in 2025, without Catholic faith and the baptism of water. Since there is alleged known salvation outside the Church for him and Cardinal Matteo Zuppi in Bologna and Cardinal Reina Baldassare in Rome. They support a New Ecumenism, New Ecclesiology, New Evangelization, New Canon Law…
Now the Synods are creating new doctrines which are not Catholic and the cardinals and bishops justify this by citing Vatican Council II interpreted irrationally i.e. LG 14 and LG 16 are exceptions for the dogma EENS, the ecumenism of return to the Catholic Church of the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX and the teaching on there is exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church, according to Aquinas and Augustine and all the catechisms.

The Lega could issue a Press Release clarifying for the European Union and the Vatican that LG 14 and LG 16 are always hypothetical cases. – Lionel Andrades
