Francis was brought to the Gemelli Hospital in Rome: According to hospital sources, he has heart disease, respiratory fatigue in the hospital where he was brought by ambulance. Programs scheduled for tomorrow and the next day have been cancelled.

Heart problems/disease and respiratory issues often is fatal for the very elderly like Francis. If he needs heart surgery, which is possible, he probably would not survive it...and if he did, he would be an invalid for the rest of his term, unless he chose to resign. I would not be surprised if he has something much worse that a "respiratory infection". as some stated. Heart attack/blockage is …More

I would not be surprised if he has something much worse that a "respiratory infection". as some stated. Heart attack/blockage is possible, lungs issues. Also the cancer that has been reported and denied many times.
