PiusX: No Chartres-Paris

The famous Chartres-Paris Pilgrimage organised over Pentecost by the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X was called off after the first leg on Saturday.

Hail, thunderstorms, and floods made the route and especially bivouacking impracticable.

The Pontifical High Mass that was to take place on the pilgrimage route was therefore celebrated by Bishop Bernard Tissier de Mallerais on Pentecost in Saint-Nicolas du Chardonnet Church, Paris.
