On Nov 27 last year Cardinal Arthur Roche offered Holy Mass in Italian at the basilica of Sant Andrea delle Fratte, Rome contradicting St.Maximmilian Kolbe on the Creeds, Alphonse Ratisbonne on the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, St. Terese of Lisieux on the Athanasius Creed and the present Minim Fathers of St. Paula, on Vatican Council II, rational.
I was not there for this Mass at this church which I frequent often.
We cannot blame Cardinal Roche, the Prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship..
Cardinal Sarah, the former Prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments, would offer Holy Mass in the same schismatic way.
It is the same for Cardinal Raymond Burke at the Latin Mass.
It is the False Premise which creates schism at Mass also for Pope Leo.
If Cardinal Arthur Roche could interpret Vatican Council II rationally, with the Rational Premise, he immediately becomes a traditionalist.
If Cardinal Robert Sarah could use the Rational Premise (invisible cases are invisible in 2026) immediately he is aligned with the ecclesiocentric Vatican Council II and the Roman Missal.
One small step.
One small step and they return to the past.
One small step and they no more is schism. They return to the traditional lex orandi.
With the Irrational Premise (LG 16 refers to a visible case in 2026) there is a rupture with the past. This is schism. There new doctrines.
When the Minim Fathers today interpret Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church rationally, they are aligned on Catholic doctrine with Alphonse and Theodore Ratisbonne, St. Maximillian Kolbe, St. Terese of Liseux and St. Catherine Laboure.
They follow the Magisterium of Vatican Council II, the Creeds, Councils and Catechisms interpreted rationally. This is apostolic. They are in the one, holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church (Nicene Creed).
The new measure is this:
The Irrational Premise creates schism irrespective of the rite or liturgy or religious congregation or beliefs of the priest offering the Mass.
The Rational Premise creates orthodoxy irrespective of the rite or liturgy…
So at every liturgy we can choose to be schismatic with the Irrational Premise or conservative with the Rational Premise. We simply have to choose our premise, inference and so conclusion.
We must avoid the LG -16 visible- error of Rahner and Ratzinger and Pope Pius XII and Cardinal Richard Cushing, the former Archbishop of Boston. - Lionel Andrades
