Father Faré Excommunicated

The "excommunication" has come. Miguel Márquez Calle, the Superior General of the Discalced Carmelites, has informed his Order that on 18 November 2024, Father Giorgio Maria Faré, OCD, was notified of a decree declaring his "excommunication for schism and his resignation from the Order".

This action follows Father Faré's public rejection of the legitimate election of Cardinal Bergoglio as Pope.

Father Faré has the right to appeal against these decisions, "just as he remains free to retract his schismatic statements at any time," writes Father Márquez Calle.

The recognition of Francis is the last dogma that Francis and his Vatican are still willing to defend.
