Source of Blasphemy: Vatican Promotes "Via Crucis of a Gay Boy"
The Vatican newspaper 'L'Osservatore Romano' published on 26th March the foreword by Bishop Francesco Savino, 69, to Via Crucis di un ragazzo gay [Via Crucis of a Gay Boy], a book by Luigi Testa, an Italian law professor.
Monsignor Savino, who was appointed Bishop of Cassano all'Jonio in 2015, has been vice-president of the Italian bishops' conference since 2022.
For the article on page six, the Vatican newspaper chose an image showing two men with naked torso next to another man in a sleeveless T-shirt carrying a cross.
In his preface, Monsignor Savino writes mainly about himself: "We have a profoundly evolving [=degenerating] understanding of sexuality that is much richer, freer and more open than has been given in traditional [=functional] societies".
He accuses the Church of Christ of "sending away public [unrepentant] sinners" and "denying them the sacraments", as if this were not in obedience to the Gospels: "In how many pronouncements, in how many parishes, in how many homes have we made the children loved by God feel wrong?" manipulates Savino like a homosexual propagandist.
He concludes: "The Church is either inclusive or it is not! The ongoing synodal process can help us to grow in this inclusiveness to the extent that we are willing to heal many wounds".
The term "inclusive" is used to include homosexual propaganda and exclude those who proclaim the Catholic faith and don't call evil good.
