Miles Christi: "Complex and Painful Moment"
On 6th March the Vatican suppressed the Argentinean institute whose homosexual founder had been defrocked for abuse.
After the news broke, the Institute said that the decree of suppression would begin a one-year process, at the end of which the dicastery would declare its effective suppression.
The leaders of the group, which also has a presence in Mexico, Italy and the United States, expressed their gratitude "for the prayers, accompaniment and affection of so many people and ask that they continue to pray in the face of this complex and painful moment".
They encourage their followers to remain "united with the Pope and the Church".
Had the Miles Christi suffered real internal problems like the Jesuits, Franciscans, Dominicans and Benedictines, no one in the Vatican would have touched them.
