FSSP Turns Roman Baroque Church into Cafeteria
The Archconfraternity of the Most Holy Trinity of the Pilgrims organised a May 28 lunch “for the needy” by turning the 17th-century baroque Caravita Oratory, Rome’s English-language parish run by the Jesuits, into a lunchroom.
The group is affiliated with the Church of the Most Holy Trinity of the Pilgrims which is run by the Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP) that published pictures of the event on their web presence.
On its own webpage, the Archconfraternity thanks the parishioners for their monthly contribution that made this event possible.
Father Brice Meissonnier, the parish-priest at Trinity of the Pilgrims’, was present at the event and accompanied by former Palermo Archbishop, Cardinal Salvatore De Giorgi, 91, who displayed around his neck an award he received from the Order of Malta. He also wore a purple zucchetto despite being dressed like a Lutheran preacher (picture).
The restaurant church will doubtlessly smoothen the hatred of Francis and his faction against the Roman Rite.
