Belgium: Homosex Propagandists ("Bishops") Lead Church into Disaster
The country's Church is being run by homosexual activists, installed as bishops who enjoy Francis' full support.
In 2023, 14,251 requests for apostasy, known as 'debaptisms', were declared, compared to 1,270 in 2022: more than ten times as many in a single year.
The annual report recently published by the Belgian bishops gives some frightening data on the state of the Novus Ordo Church in Belgium.
The report notes the loss of 1,000 diocesan priests in 6 years. There were only ten priestly ordinations in 2023.
Most sacramental practices (baptisms, communions, religious marriages, confirmations and religious burials) are in decline.
There are officially about 6 million "Catholics" in Belgium, of whom less than 175,000 regularly attended Sunday Mass in 2022. That's just 3%.
98% of the requests for deletion from the baptismal register were recorded in Flanders and in the archdiocese of Malines-Brussels, which is run by the anti-Catholic bureaucrat and homosexual activist Luc Terlinden.
After Francis' visit to Belgium in September 2024, three Belgian "bishops" criticised Francis' [empty] words on abortion, which - as an exception - were even in line with Catholic teaching.
