The new "Altar"? It seems to me like being in a fast-food. In this movie Gastone Moschin plays the role which was first played on the big screen by Fernandel. "Don Camillo e i giovani d'oggi" is based on the last Guareschi's novel of the "Don Camillo" series. This Venet (Venetian) actor has a unique ability to speak in different accents (as here with Don Camillo's emilian voice, or with the florentine one as in "Amici miei") and different languages (neapolitan in "The godfather", venetian in Goldoni's plays). Here Don Camillo meets the revolution of the second Vatican Council and the liturgical "re-form" (revolution's format) that came after.
