Back in the 1950s, my Parisian girlfriends were attacked by a group of Muslims after exiting the theatre. At 16 she had her arm slashed from the wrist to the elbow, her girlfriend was thrown into a glass plate window. She beat one of them with the heel of her shoe fighting for her life. She was able to get away and found refuge nearby and the police were summoned. She was taken to the hospital to treat her injuries only to find her assailant being treated for his head injuries. I asked her why in the world would a group of men attack two girls? She said they attack the women to show the men of Paris, "We are the ones in charge here."

This was at the time around the Algerian war, I don't know about this. But after that the war ended, there was no attack reported in the press or known until maybe the 80's for some suburbs. The terrorist Carlos was a South American. Still nowadays, there are quite a bunch of peoples (20 ? 30% ? 40 ?) that don't make any link between Muslims and some events because they live so well in some places …More
