Ballyfermot: Catholics Counter Pride Flag on Church Grounds
On June 15th, 2021, the homosexual flag was raised in the grounds of the Church of Our Lady of Assumption, in Ballyfermot, Dublin. Soon, both the parish office and the office of the Dublin Archbishop received calls from horrified Catholics, both local and international, deeply upset that the church in Ballyfermot would raise a flag symbolising pride and unrepentant homosexuality. Many people also personally went to speak to the priest. Reparation needed to be done! Therefore, Irish Society for Christian Civilisation organised a Rosary of Reparation. Joined by many locals and receiving great support from the community, the rosary was a great success. Thanks to the faithfulness of the Ballyfermot parishioners and the Catholic Faithful in Ireland, the flag was taken down after a few days, by orders of the Archbishop.
