Das Brüsseler Polit-Kartell hat sich hinter den Kulissen bereits größtenteils darauf verständigt, Ursula von der Leyen in eine zweite Amtszeit als Präsidentin der EU-Kommission zu wählen. Was früher zwingend zu Rücktritt und Karriereende geführt hätte, scheint heute der Schlüssel zu höchsten politischen Ämtern zu sein.
Diese Farce mache ich nicht mit. Direkt vor der kommenden Wahl habe ich daher meine neuste parlamentarische Resolution platziert, die der Wiederwahl Von der Leyens eine klare Absage erteilt. Dadurch müssen nun sämtliche EU-Abgeordneten Farbe bekennen. Wer meine Resolution unterstützt, steht auf der Seite der Interessen der Bürger. Wer die Resolution ablehnt, zeigt, dass er ein Unterstützer von Korruption und Vetternwirtschaft ist.

The Brussels political cartel has already largely agreed behind the scenes to elect Ursula von der Leyen to a second term as president of the EU Commission. What would have led to resignation and career termination in the past seems to be the key to the highest political offices today.
I'm not going to do this farce. Therefore, I have placed my latest parliamentary resolution directly before the upcoming election, which clearly rejects Von der Leyen's re-election. As a result, all MEPs now have to show their colours. Whoever supports my resolution is on the side of the interests of the citizens. Anyone who rejects the resolution shows that he is a supporter of corruption and nepotism.
