The Lukewarm (4/25/13) ChurchMilitantTV: The lukewarm will regret their indifference

A billion Baptized Catholics. In the western world, only 30% attend weekly Mass. Of that 30% that attend Mass, roughly 30% believe in the Eucharist as the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, the bread and wine consecrated into the flesh of Jesus Christ. "The path of destruction is wide and the gates of Salvation narrow."

Makes me think the Catholic Church is great place to hide out, sit there, ignore the Sacraments and go home. Protestant denominations require more involvement but sadly ignore all of John 6:51-58.

Satan sure burnt
both ends toward the middle way back in the early 16th century. A masterpiece of Pride, confusion, smoke and mirrors blocking the view of the Holy Eucharist...peace...

What Does Alcoholics Anonymous Say about Jesus?

@stanslem-I attained Sobriety a A/A sitting next to Catholic Priests, Protestant Ministers, the rich and the poor. The position of the Church regarding A/A is encouraged and considered Echumenical. What Does Alcoholics Anonymous Say about Jesus?

I'm Eternally grateful to A/A. Before 1935 no one gave a crap about us Alcoholics. Nobody. There is no way I would of touched the door handle of the Church if it wasn't for A/A.
Our Parish Priest didn't even have a vague idea of what the 12 steps are much less there being a consistent Apostolate through-out the World. I offered my help and he politely brushed it off. Your program is Spiritually …More

Our Parish Priest didn't even have a vague idea of what the 12 steps are much less there being a consistent Apostolate through-out the World. I offered my help and he politely brushed it off. Your program is Spiritually and Doctrinally correct but I doubt many alcoholics would subscribe to it. Religion is a huge line item on many alcoholics resentment list. They need metaphores and fact-simile suggestions, nobody does it better than A/A.
