"Today I come as a missionary of mercy and of peace but also as a son who wishes to pay homage to his mother, the Blessed Virgin of Guadalupe, and place himself under her watchful care…", said Pope Francis. This is the sacred tilma of St Juan Diego on which is the miraculous image of Mary, Mother of God, who is called the Most Pure Virgin of Guadalupe. Pope Francis is making a pilgrimage to see her today, 13th February. May she pray for our Holy Father.
