You are a logical man and I agree with you!
Thank you, I am going to be ordained a priest but I have a few more years to go though.
This Pope I believe to be a Pope, so I am not against his Papacy, yet he is in my belief a liberal and dangerously bordering on heresy at times. I guess one could pray to God for his intentions and if its Gods Will also He would maybe grant it. But personally I feel more comfortable praying for his salvation. I don't think he is a good leader, but non the less he is the Pope as far as I believe.

1st I think I read sometime back, you are going to become a priest. If I recall correctly ..Excellent!

There is an adage in the Holy Bible...Don`t worry about tomorrow, the Evil of today is sufficient.
Much of what is Continually with out End argued about up here are things that have not yet come to pass.

That is pretty much a waste of time.
We don`t need faith in the Pope. We need Faith in God.
What we owe the Pope is our obedience, and prayers.
What the Pope owes us, is to preserve & safeguard the Faith unaltered and complete, as he received from our Catholic forefathers.

I mentioned the prayer for His intentions, because it is an old prayer, and embraced by our Catholic Forefathers.

As a Traditional Catholic; what was good for them, is still good for me. I was just trying to answer the objection too praying for his intentions.

Of Course a Catholic can offer any prayer/intention for the Pope.

I would like to say something about praying for Pope Francis.
Praying for the Pope`s intentions is the correct intention. I would add that it might be a lack of faith not to be willing to do so.

This is my point ; we all including the pope struggle in this world.{ For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.

Praying for the Pope intentions; is asking God for Grace, so Pope Francis will do God`s Will. This is what we all ask for..right? To know God`s will for us, and do it. To be protected from and preserved against what St. Paul speaks of.

Pretty important stuff. SOoooooooo Try and get past the obvious difficulties, and remember his soul is on the line too.

We must always take great care with our Holy Faith; to remain in the fold that is Our Lords, the Holy Catholic Church. So pray my friends, this synod takes a year as 2015 has the conclusion, but I wouldn't be surprise seen many transvestites been blessed in the process...

This synod will show a rainbow of poisonous fruits, so let's pray for them and this man who claims he is Peter, for the man, NOT his intentions.
