"For I received from the LORD that which I also delivered to you, that the LORD JESUS in the night in which He was betrayed took bread, and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said:

In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying:

On the first day of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus and asked: "Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?"
He sent two of His disciples and said to them: "Go into the city and behold, you will meet a man among you, bearing a vessel of water. Follow him, and in the place where he enters say to the owner of the house: "Our Master says, 'Where is the house chamber, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?' And behold, he will show you a great upper room, laid out and prepared. There make ready for us." And His disciples went out and they came to the city. They found just as He told them, and they prepared the Passover.
When it was evening He arrived with the twelve. And as they reclined and ate, Jesus said: "Amen, I say to you, one of you who eat with Me will betray Me!"
But they began to lose heart, and they were saying to Him, each one: "Is it I?" But He said to them: "One of the twelve who dips with Me in the dish. The Son of Man goes just as it is written about Him, but woe to that man by whose hand the Son of Man is betrayed. It were better for that man if he had not been born!"

On the contrary, the evangelists were witnesses that Jesus exorcised demons and unclean spirits... This is only possible through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus´ disciples and apostles have been also empowered by Him to cast out unclean and evil spirits, also to heal and to raise the dead.

"This month shall be the beginning of months for you. It is to be the first month of the year to you. Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, 'On the tenth of this month they are each one to take a lamb for themselves, according to their fathers' households, a lamb for each household...
Your lamb shall be an unblemished male a year old. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats. You shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month, then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to kill it at twilight. Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses in which they eat it...
Now you shall eat it in this manner: with your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand, and you shall eat it in haste-- it is the LORD'S Passover.
For I will go through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast, and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments-- I am the LORD!
The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you live. And when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt!" Exodus 12, 1-13

Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet He would know who and what sort of person this woman is who is touching Him, that she is a sinner."
And Jesus said to him, "Simon, I have something to say to you."
And he replied,"Say it, Teacher!" "A certain moneylender had two debtors: one owed five hundred denarii and the other fifty. When they were unable to repay, he graciously forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him more" Simon answered and said, "I suppose the one whom he forgave more"
Jesus said to him, "You have judged correctly."
And turning toward the woman, He said to Simon,"Do you see this woman? I entered your house, you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has wet My feet with her tears, and wiped them with her hair.
You gave Me no kiss, but she, since the time I came in, has not ceased to kiss My feet.
You did not anoint My head with oil, but she anointed Me with oil.
For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little." And He said to her,"Your sins have been forgiven!" And those who laid at the table with Him began to say to themselves, "Who is this man who even forgives sins?"
And Jesus said to the woman,"Your faith has saved you, go in peace!" Luke 7,36-50

Now when Jesus was in Bethany, at the home of Simon the leper, a woman came to Him with an alabaster vial of very costly Narden oil, and she poured it on His head as He reclined at the table. But the disciples were indignant when they saw this, and said, "Why this waste? For this oil might have been sold for a high price and the money given to the poor." But Jesus, aware of this, said to them: "Why do you bother the woman? For she has done a good deed to Me.
For you always have the poor with you. but you do not always have Me. For when she poured this oil on My body, she did it to prepare Me for burial.
Verily I say to you, wherever this Gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be spoken of in memory of her!" Matthew 26,6-13

In Matthew 26, 6-13 we find that Jesus came to the town of Bethany six days before the Passover. Since Passover was celebrated on the 14th, this would mean that Jesus came to Bethany on the ninth. It was the next day , the 10th, when Jesus rode into Jerusalem and was greeted by the cheering crowds. Jesus entered Jerusalem to be set aside as the Passover lamb of God on the exact date that God told the Jews to set aside their lambs back in Egypt.

At the next day a great crowd which had come to the Feast, when they heard that Jesus had come to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and they were shouting and saying, "Hosanna! Blessed is He that comes in the name of the LORD, the King of Israel!" Jesus found a colt of a donkey and sat down upon it just as it is written: ´Do not be afraid, O daughter of Zion, behold your King comes to you and rides on a foal, a colt of a donkey!´(Zechariah 9,9)
His disciples did not understand these things at that time, but when Jesus was glorified, His disciples were reminded that these things were written about Him and that they had done these things to Him. And the crowd testified that they were with Him when He called Lazar from the tomb and raised him from the dead. Because of this, great crowds went in front of Him who heard that He had done this miracle. And the Pharisees were saying to one another: "Do you see that you are not gaining anything? Behold, the whole world is going after Him." John 12,1-19

Untie it and bring it to Me. If anyone asks, ‘Why are you doing this?’ tell him, ‘The Lord needs it and will return it shortly.’"
So they went and found the colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. They untied it, and some who were standing there asked, "Why are you untying the colt?"
The disciples answered as Jesus had instructed them, and the people gave them permission. They led the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, and He sat on it.
Many in the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut from the fields. 9The ones who went ahead and those who followed were shouting: "Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!" Mark 11,1-9

The Third Prediction of the Passion
As they were going up the road to Jerusalem, Jesus took the twelve disciples aside and said to them, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn Him to death and will deliver Him to the Gentiles, to be mocked, scourged and crucified, but the third day He will arise!" Matthew 20,17-19 (Mark 10,32-34, Luke 18,31-34)
