I understand the point, but is there anything in Scripture or prophecy pertaining to such a lengthy interregnum? ..especially as we suffer the Church's passion in these dark days? There are abundant examples of prophecy regarding the loss of Faith and failure of our shepherds but I'm not aware of a prediction of no shepherd.
