A group inspired by the so-called Islamic State torched today the Cathedral of Our Lady Help of Christians in Marawi City, southern Philippines, according to local media. Before, they abducted the local vicar general Father Teresito Suganob, church staff and churchgoers. Today is the feast of the patron saint of the Church.
