Will Francis "Lift" the Excommunication of Martin Luther?

"The Pope can actually remove the excommunication but it will have no moral effect
because the man is dead. The man’s eternal destiny is fixed. God will consider him
excommunicated by his false teachings and praxis. God will not consider the excommunication
by the Vatican. The term excommunication actually just gives formal recognition to the fact

"Why do many modern Christians use the Masoretic text for the Old Testament when it was specifically created to counteract Christians spreading the Gospel message?" Here is an article that explains how it happened.

James Martin: Jesus says nothing about homosexuality

In Mt 19:3-9 Jesus referred to Genesis 2: 8-25 (The Garden of Eden) when lecturing the Pharisees on divorce being wrong. "He who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female ,'and said, "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.' So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together …More
In Mt 19:3-9 Jesus referred to Genesis 2: 8-25 (The Garden of Eden) when lecturing the Pharisees on divorce being wrong. "He who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female ,'and said, "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.' So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate." When God created us He made us male and female for a reason. He did not make us male and male nor female and female. Why did God take bone from bone and flesh from flesh to create "woman?" Could God have kept His promise to make Abram "a great nation" without children? In Exodus 1:7 "Then the children of Israel increased and multiplied , became numerous, and grew exceedingly mighty; and the land was filled with them." God said in Genesis 1 "Be fruitful and multiply." To be fruitful and multiply our families must be stable and grow. That is why the Church has been against birth control.

From Romans 1:14-32 Paul writes to the Church about the righteousness of God through faith in Christ and God's wrath "against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men..." Sexual immorality is on this long list of practices leading to death. "Professing to be wise they became fools..." In 1 Corinthians Paul wrote Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites...will inherit the kingdom of God."

We must live by the Great Commandment Mt. 22:36-39. We must fulfill the Great Commission (Mt. 28:18-20) through the Church "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you." Acts 2 describes the arrival of the Holy Spirit and the life of the early Church. "They continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers." (Acts 2:42)

The apostles' doctrine and fellowship is the key to the survival of the Church. The twin pillars of the Church is the Mass and the Scriptures. In 1 Corinthians 1:18-25 Paul writes "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God... The foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men."

In 2 Timothy 2:14-26 Paul wrote to Timothy about apostolic teaching versus error and apostolic conduct versus error. "Shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. And their message will spread like cancer." In 2 Timothy 3:1-9 Paul writes about the moral decline in the last days. "Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud...."

I urge you brothers and sisters in view of God's mercy to offer your bodies as living sacrifices. This is holy and pleasing to God. This is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform to the patterns of the world but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Romans 12:1-2

"While Christians are dying for their faith and their fidelity to Jesus, in the West, men of the Church are trying to reduce the requirements of the Gospel to a minimum." Robert Cardinal Sarah God or Nothing

Cardinal Sarah: "You Are Not 'Traditionalists'"

I believe the above excerpt is taken out of context and is misleading. I agree with Cardinal Sarah. Being labeled can take away from or minimize the issue or substance of what you are talking about. There have been times when I have spoken to an individual or small group of Protestants on the importance of the Liturgy and Eucharist and their response has been "You must be Catholic." and down played what I was saying. Are were doing the same thing when we label a fellow Catholic "a traditionalist?"
